ورق هي منظمة غير ربحية مقرها الرئيسي في بيروت، لبنان. تأسست في العام ٢٠١٢، وهي ملتزمة بدعم ممارسات الفنون الجرافيكية من خلال التعليم، البحث، الإنتاج والنشر.
تم تصميم مهمة “ورق” على أساس نهج الوحدات. من خلال إنشاء فضاء إنتاج مجهّز، برنامج تعليمي، موعد سنوي للاحتفال بفن الطباعة، متجر للمطبوعات، و استضافت مختبر بحثي، تهدف “ورق” إلى تزويد المصممين والفنانين الناشئين والمحترفين بالموارد اللازمة لتطوير قدراتهم، مسارهم وإصداراتهم عبر إعادة التفكير في النهج التعليمي في مجال التصميم، تشبيك المجموعات الفاعلة في هذا القطاع وتشجيع الخطاب الفني والثقافي.
Waraq is non profit organization based in Beirut, Lebanon. Founded in 2012, it is committed to the support of graphic art practices through education, research, production and publishing.
Waraq's mission is designed based on a modular approach. By establishing a space, a well equipped print production facility, an educational program, a yearly print celebration event, a permanent print shop and hosting a research lab, Waraq aims to provide emerging and established designers and artists with the resources for the development of both their ideas and outputs rethinking design education, bridging communities and encouraging artistic and cultural discourse.

بيت ورق هو من أوّل مشاريع جمعية ورق. هو فضاء متواجد في حي سكني في منطقة المزرعة، بيروت. هو نوع جديد من أماكن العمل المشترك حيث يمكن للفنانين و المحترفين استئجار أي من الغرف المجهزة بأدوات ومعدّات لتسهيل عمليّة الإنتاج الفني في مجالات الرّسوم التصويريّة، فنون التحريك والتصميم لفترة يوم أو أكثر.
Beit Waraq is a project initiated by Waraq in 2012. It is located in a residential neighborhood in Mazraa’, Beirut. It is a community space that actively promotes the art of illustration, printmaking, design and animation by allocating each of its rooms to one of these practices. Our space is set up on the co-working model, where artists can rent equipped studio spaces for durations as short as a day up to a month-long leases. We offer four types of studios to fit different needs and working styles; The Co-working Room, The Paper Room, The Animation Room, and The Silkscreen Room.
Beit Waraq is also an incubator for visual arts studio, Studio Kawakeb.
This project was funded by Hivos and Mideast Creatives.

ورش ورق هو برنامج سنوي من ورش العمل التي بتدأتها جمعية ورق، والتي وضعت مع لجنة من المتخصصين، ويتم تنفيذها في بيت ورق.
يعمل البرنامج بمثابة منصة تعاونية للفنانين الذين يعملون في مجالات الرسوم المتحركة، والرسم والتصميم، للتفكير في المدينة مع الجمهور المحلي. ورش العمل هي تقنية وعملية، مما يجهّز المشاركين بالأدوات اللازمة لتطوير فكرة من البداية وحتى النهاية.

Werash Waraq is a yearly program of workshops and short courses initiated by Waraq, developed with a committee of professionals, and implemented in Beit Waraq.
The program acts as a collaborative platform for artists working in the fields of animation, illustration and design to reflect on the city with the local audience. The workshops are technical and process driven, equipping participants with the tools to develop an idea from start to finish.
